I researched the reasons that this movie did not become popular. It seems there were some reasons. One of them is that that famous movie "ET" was released at around the same ages . On top of that preview of this movie made audience expect this movie as space SF movie, which space battles between man and androids happens a lot, such as Star Wars. But this movie was completely different. Then the audiance was disappointed with that. The article said that this movie was suspended in the theater at early stage in Japan.
It is written in Ancient documents that human being is replica of God . Originally human being used to be replica of God. That means that Replica created another replican called "replicant". In other wards, we can say that human being and replicant are both replicant. So human being chaicing replicant is wicked itself.
The continuous falling acid rain makes this movie very special. It makes the movie damp and shady. It gives us a image of the ruined future earth' s image. I feel afraid when I guess that we must live such a polluted earth or get away to another planet.
I heard that Deckard killed Racheal in original script. I am happy that the writer changed the last part. I hope they live togher somewhere happily.

Westworld
I love this movie very much.
All in all this movie is similer to Jurassic park. However I think this is much more interesting than Jurassic park. Jurassic park was unlikely to exist. On the other hand, Westworld seems to exist . The reson why I thought might be caused by the first seen, which is the sean TV interview was broadcasted.
If these kind of amusement parks exist actually, I would like to join. I would like to go to Medieval world and wear beautiful cloths. But I don't want to go Jurassic park. I don't want to see Dinasor.
When John was shot by android gunman, Peter could not recognized the matter. I can understand the feeling. It must not happen. When unbeliebable thing happens, human being would become panick. I did not expect at all that John was shot actually and died.
This movie is not so long. That point might make this movie sharp. The long movie sometime get audiance bored. But the gunman robbot came back to life many times. That was diffusive.

Colossus: The Forbin project
Will the time when computer controls human being come actually? Computers are more clever than us human being? These questions occurred me after I saw this movie. This was made around 30 years ago. However the idea of it has not staled at all. I heard that this movie will be remake in future. I guess this movie might become popular even at the present days.
Though this movie might be released at the moment in Japan, this movie might not be known very much. in Japan.
Computer system is much more huge compared to the current computer system. I wonder they could not imagine future computer would not need so much space.
According to the Internet, the original writer used to work at the navy of U.K. The name of Colossus is the name which was actual computer name used in U.K. during World War II in order to decipher the cipher of Germany. It is also said that this movie was made to disclose the actual big computer project gone forward in U.K. confidentially.
I could not image the last scene. I expected happy ending. I was very surprised to see the ending. So far we saw two filmes. The both Ending of them were not happy. 2001 Space Odessay
This movie is much different from others. There are few spoken lines. I think that director thought that the content of this movie should be created by audience's own imagination. I guess there are many different views by people's understanding.
First of all this movie started from the dawn of mankind. There were a lot of monkey making a fuss around the rectangular iron board. I could not understand at first what they are doing. I read in explanation column of a web site that the rectangular board was sent from Jupiter. At last part of scene we could see that same rectangular board in the 4th dimension room. So I guess this board was sent from this old man of Jupiter.
This movie was created by imaging in 2001, about 30 years from that time. It became quite popular that ordinary people travel to the moon and live there. However travel to space has not became popular yet. The Sean of inside air ship was interesting, such as a ball point pen was flying in the air and a flight attendant standing upside down.
At last the astronaut broke Hal 9000 by very simple tool, driver. This contrast was very interesting. Artificial Intelligence could not win against very simple tool, driver. When Hal 9000 did not obey the astronaut's words "open the door", he decided to release his colleague into space and open the door of spaceship by using the emergency bottan. After he entered the space ship, he broke Hal 9000. This was big decision. This astronaut had already known that he would become alone in the space and never go back to the earth, if he would breaks Hal 9000. But he did. That was his choice. If he did not break Hal 9000 ,there might be some possibility to return to the earth. He did not wanted to be controlled by computer、even if he remained alone in the space. He wanted to live by his own thinking. Thise conflict between man and machine was very interesting. Human being could feel humiliation very much if we were under controled computers.
